'PREZENT' ranks No.4 in Top Album Sales, showcasing unstoppable global popularity
ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) is heating up Japan once again.
On June 6, Billboard Japan unveiled its Mid-Year Chart Results for 2025, and ZEROBASEONE's first Japanese EP 'PREZENT' ranked an impressive No.4 on the Top Album Sales chart.
📈 K-pop's lone representative in the top 5
Despite having no Japanese members, ZB1 soared to the top ranks—proving their immense popularity in the country. In fact, they're the only K-pop group to break into the top 5 of the album sales category this year.
🏆 Breaking records left and right
Upon release, 'PREZENT' smashed ZEROBASEONE's own first-week sales records. It immediately topped both the Oricon Weekly Album Chart and Weekly Combined Album Chart, further cementing their grip on the Japanese music scene.
🎁 A heartfelt gift to fans
The title 'PREZENT' is more than just a name—it's a sincere message to their fandom ZEROSE. The album is filled with warmth, appreciation, and emotional lyrics meant to thank fans for their unwavering love.
🎵 The EP includes:
- 6 total tracks
- 4 original Japanese songs
- 2 Korean hits reimagined in Japanese
- The diverse genre mix highlights ZB1's versatile musical range and artistic growth.
🌍 Billboard US, too? They've done that.
Earlier this year, ZB1 made their debut on the Billboard 200 with their 5th mini-album 'Blue Paradise', landing at No.28—the highest debut ever for a 5th-gen K-pop group.
They also stayed on three Billboard charts for 8 consecutive weeks, showcasing major impact in both the U.S. and Japanese markets.
"ZEROBASEONE is building a strong presence in the world's two biggest music markets—Japan and the U.S.," said one industry insider.
🎤 Next stop: Yonsei University
