Seunghan, formerly of RIIZE, is set to make his solo debut next month.
On June 9, SM Entertainment confirmed the news in a call with Dispatch: "Seunghan is currently preparing for a solo debut, aiming for July. Please give him lots of support and anticipation."
The agency had previously announced his solo plans last year, stating, "He has been continuing his training with structured support in producing, management, and performance."
Seunghan has also launched official social media channels to share his progress. On June 5, he dropped a dance practice video, performing to Bobby Brown's Every Little Step and showcasing his refined moves.
Seunghan originally debuted with RIIZE in September 2023. However, shortly after debut, allegations regarding his private life during his trainee days surfaced, leading to an indefinite hiatus.
Though he initially expressed interest in rejoining the group, his return faced intense backlash from fans. In October, Wizard Production announced his participation in team schedules, but ultimately, he withdrew from the group.
Seunghan now begins a new chapter as a solo artist under SM Entertainment.
