The long-awaited full-group return of BTS is almost here. RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are all set to be discharged from the military this week.
🎖️ Military Service Nears the End
RM and V will officially return to civilian life on June 10. RM served in the 15th Infantry Division military band, while V carried out his duties as part of the Special Duty Team under the 2nd Corps Military Police.
Jimin and Jungkook, who enlisted together, will complete their service on June 11 at the 5th Infantry Division. Their agency has requested fans to refrain from visiting discharge sites for safety reasons.
📀 Post-'Proof' Military Hiatus
BTS began their military hiatus after the release of their anthology album Proof in June 2022. Jin was the first to enlist that December and was discharged earlier this year.
While some served, others thrived in solo ventures:
- J-Hope dropped his first solo album Jack In The Box before enlistment.
- RM released Indigo as his first full album, followed by Right Place, Wrong Person during service.
- Jimin shared his artistry with two EPs: FACE and MUSE.
- SUGA (Agust D) made waves with his first solo album D-DAY.
- Jungkook enjoyed massive success with his debut album GOLDEN.
- V embraced a new sound in his first mini-album Layover.
🎉 A New BTS Era Begins
Following their service, Jin and J-Hope have already returned to the spotlight with new music, TV appearances, and even tours.
Now, with RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook discharging around the same time—and SUGA to follow on June 21—anticipation for BTS's full-group comeback is hitting an all-time high.
