🎖️ BTS's RM & V Complete Military Service
RM and V of BTS have officially been discharged from the military as of June 10. The two reunited in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, and greeted fans together after finishing their service.
The two made their appearance at a gym in Chuncheon. RM surprised everyone by playing the Detective Conan theme song on the tenor saxophone, before both gave a respectful military salute and shouted, "Chungseong!" (Loyalty!).
🇰🇷 RM Reflects on His Time in Uniform
"I'm Sergeant Kim Namjoon, officially discharged today," RM began. "It was tough at times, but I've learned so much. Thanks to those who serve both at the front and rear lines, I was able to continue dreaming."
He added, "Since joining the military, I've grown closer with my dad and military friends. It was a truly meaningful time." He also shared heartfelt words for the soldiers still serving, encouraging them to hang in there and stay strong.
And to ARMY? "Thank you for waiting," he said with a smile. "Now it's time for me to return as BTS's RM, and I'll go all out."
💬 V Promises a Legendary Comeback
"I'm Sergeant Kim Taehyung of the Special Task Force. I've officially been discharged," said V. "The military helped me reset both physically and mentally. I feel rebuilt."
"I really want to run to ARMY as fast as I can. Thank you for waiting—just a little longer and I'll return with an amazing stage," he promised.
He also gave a special shout-out to his unit: "Thank you to the Special Forces for taking such good care of me. I hope you all stay safe and finish strong. I'll make sure to become an even greater person in society."
🎤 Back to the Stage—Not the Base
When asked what he wants to do most, RM replied, "I want to perform. I'll be working hard on new music and come back to the stage—not the base!"
🎉 BTS Reunion Coming Soon?
All seven BTS members are expected to reunite soon. Jimin and Jungkook will be discharged on June 11, while SUGA is scheduled for release on June 21.
