Yuqi of I-DLE is officially supporting her junior labelmates NOWZ by joining as a producer for their debut album.
🔥 NOWZ's Pre-Release Teases Yuqi's Touch
On June 9, CUBE Entertainment dropped a character film teaser for NOWZ's 1st mini album IGNITION. The clip confirmed a special collaboration between Yuqi and the rookie boy group.
In the video, Yuqi appears as a rabbit character named "Kkikki," who swings a giant lollipop at five glowing gems. These gems transform into adorable animal characters representing the NOWZ members:
- Monkey = Hyunbin
- Puppy = Yoon
- Dinosaur = Yeonwoo
- Bear = Jinhyuk
- Fox = Siyoon
Kkikki tosses the five animals into the air—symbolizing Yuqi giving NOWZ the strength to take off and soar.
🎵 Yuqi's Growing Resume as a Producer
Yuqi has built a solid reputation as a songwriter and producer through both I-DLE and her solo projects. She previously contributed to tracks like LOST, GIANT, and Love Tease, and played a major role in her 1st solo mini-album YUQ1, earning credits on all five songs, including the title track.
A CUBE official noted, "Yuqi is a talented producer, and we're excited to see what kind of creative synergy she'll bring to NOWZ."
