'NCT' member Doyoung is making waves both at home and abroad with his second solo album.
Doyoung dropped his new album Soar on June 9, with the title track Memory (안녕, 우주) instantly hitting No. 1 on Bugs' real-time chart. All 10 tracks from the album also charted on Melon's HOT100.
On the album sales front, Soar debuted at No. 1 on Hanteo's daily chart. The international response is just as strong—he topped China's QQ Music digital album sales chart, ranked No. 1 on Japan's AWA real-time surge chart, and landed at No. 2 on Recochoku's daily album ranking.
🎧 A listening experience with heart
To celebrate the release, Doyoung held a "Listening Experience" exhibition from June 6–8 at Sweet Spot Stage in Ikseon. The exhibit combined highlights from all 10 tracks with visual displays, including photos taken by fellow NCT member Johnny, as well as sculptures, installations, and media art.
Doyoung even made a surprise appearance on opening day, where he played the full album for fans and shared behind-the-scenes stories for each track.
💫 A deeper message in every track
This album carries a theme close to Doyoung's heart: the power of dreams. While his previous solo work reflected raw stories of youth, Soar signals his growth and artistic evolution. The 10 tracks include Memory, First Step (자전거), Luminous (동경), and I'll Be Waiting in the Future (미래에서 기다릴게).
🎤 Upcoming Asia Tour
Doyoung is set to kick off his second Asia tour Doors with three nights at Seoul's Jamsil Indoor Stadium from June 13 to 15.
