BOYNEXTDOOR Earns RIAJ Gold Certification—'No Genre' Dominates Japan's Charts

BOYNEXTDOOR is taking over Japan's music scene—this time with an official Gold certification under their belt.

On June 10, the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) confirmed that BOYNEXTDOOR's 4th mini album No Genre had surpassed 100,000 copies in shipments. With this, the group earned their second Gold certification, following 19.99.

🏅 RIAJ Gold for 'No Genre'

RIAJ grants certifications monthly based on cumulative physical shipments. The tiers are: Gold (100K+), Platinum (250K+), Double Platinum (500K+), and Million (1M+).

📈 Sweeping Japanese Charts
No Genre has been dominating multiple Japanese music charts. It topped Billboard Japan's Top Album Sales and Hot Albums charts.

It also hit No. 1 on Oricon's Weekly Album Ranking and Weekly Combined Albums Ranking (for the May 12–18 tracking period), marking BOYNEXTDOOR's third consecutive double crown on the Oricon Weekly charts—following HOW? and 19.99.

🌍 Global Reach Continues

In Korea, the album sold over 1.16 million copies in first-week sales, based on Hanteo Chart, earning the group their second consecutive million-seller title.

The group also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 62 (as of May 31), continuing their streak of charting on the Billboard main album chart with every mini album to date.

🎤 Encore Concert Incoming

BOYNEXTDOOR will hold encore shows for their first solo tour KNOCK ON Vol.1 at Tokyo's Keio Arena from June 28–30.
