A revamped version of 'Dining With You' returns with charm and conversation

Kim Hee-sun is making her return to the variety scene as the main MC of JTBC's brand-new show One Dinner Together (Korean title: Han-kki Hap-sho). With her signature charm and wit, she'll be setting the tone for a show that blends everyday meals with meaningful conversation.

🍚 From "Give Me Dinner" to "Let's Share Dinner"

This program is a spiritual successor to JTBC's hit show Dining With You (Han-kki Jup-sho), which wrapped up in 2020. While the previous show focused on visiting strangers' homes to ask for a meal, One Dinner Together (Han-kki Hap-sho) signals a new approach—sharing stories and food on a mutual table.

The title says it all: it's no longer about asking ("줍쇼" = "please give") but coming together ("합쇼" = "let's do it together"). It's about collaboration over conversation and cuisine.

🎤 Co-hosted by Kim Hee-sun and Tak Jae-hoon

Joining Kim Hee-sun is fellow entertainer Tak Jae-hoon, a duo with proven chemistry from past shows like SBS's My Little Old Boy. Their witty back-and-forth and comic synergy have previously delighted viewers, with Kim earning the nickname "Tak Jae-hoon's match."

A source from the production team told Dispatch,

"Kim Hee-sun and Tak Jae-hoon bring a refreshing charm that will brighten viewers' evenings. We're excited about the joy their chemistry will bring."

🎥 New Format, Familiar Warmth

While the full format of the show remains under wraps, it's been confirmed that actor Yoo Hae-jin will appear as the very first guest. The inclusion of surprise guests each episode is expected to be a major highlight, as they join for a heartfelt meal and stories.

Kim Hee-sun previously appeared in tvN's Let's Have a Meal in July last year, where her spontaneous "meal meetups" with co-hosts Lee Soo-geun and Lee Eun-ji earned a warm response from viewers.

🎨 Kim Hee-sun's Expanding Career

Beyond acting and hosting, Kim is also stepping into the world of art as an art director. She is actively involved with H.Art, a collective created by Hinge Entertainment and Ray Village that introduces works by both renowned and emerging Korean artists.

One Dinner Together is expected to air in the coming months on JTBC.
