ATEEZ is back—bolder, brighter, and bursting with summer energy. Their latest album is not just a seasonal drop, but a statement: "Cool is courage."
🌊 'Lemon Drop' Ushers in a Summery New Era
On June 12, ATEEZ held a press conference at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery to celebrate the release of their 12th mini album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3. It's their first official summer song release in nearly six years.
"This time, it's a sweet and refreshing confession from ATEEZ," said leader Hongjoong.
The title track Lemon Drop blends R&B and hip-hop with the group's signature high-energy vocals. The music video captures the members enjoying the heat of summer—complete with bright poolside visuals and playful choreography.
💿 5 Tracks, One Theme: Emotional Thirst
The new album follows the journey of youth pulled by instinct, navigating temptation, detours, and raw emotions. The concept revolves around thirst—a metaphor for the emotional voids and yearnings that grow stronger in a fast-paced world.
Tracklist:
- Lemon Drop
- Now This House Ain't a Home
- Masterpiece
- Castle
- Bridge: The Edge of Reality
Hongjoong and Mingi participated in writing lyrics for four tracks. "We filled this album with songs that feel like summer nights," said Mingi.
🎤 ATEEZ: Still Growing, Still Bold
Seonghwa explained the difference from previous works: "Parts 1 and 2 focused on our direction and love; this time, it's all about emotion."
Hongjoong added, "We showcased a side of ATEEZ that hasn't been seen before. I'm proud of how it turned out."
Wooyoung hyped up the dance performance: "The hook and choreo are super addictive. ATINYs are going to love it."
🌍 Global Reach & Ongoing Evolution
With Part.1, ATEEZ became 4-time million-sellers and hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Part.2 reached No. 1 on the same chart and landed in the top ranks of the UK Official Chart.
But the pressure? They're handling it with gratitude.
"We're more focused on creating great memories and staying healthy during promotions," said Yeosang.
Now in their 7th year, the group remains hungry to evolve. "Our identity is all about trying new things," said San. "There are still so many albums to come—and we're just getting started."
