FNC Entertainment announced on June 19, "Lee Hong-gi will release a remake of PSY's 'It's Raining' on July 6 at 6 PM KST through major music platforms." Originally released in 2006, the track tells the story of someone who impulsively calls an ex on a rainy day—haunted by lingering emotions.

While the original conveyed quiet loneliness, Lee Hong-gi adds his signature bright tone and emotionally charged vocals to enhance the heartbreak. The remake keeps the bittersweet essence of the original while introducing a new wave of sentimentality.
