BTS has officially ended their 2.5-year military hiatus, with SUGA being the last member to complete his service.

SUGA, who served as a public service worker, was discharged on June 21, after using up his remaining leave starting June 18. No special event was held for his discharge.

The group hinted at a new chapter during j-hope's solo concert on June 13, where members j-hope, Jin, and Jungkook reunited on stage. j-hope declared, "BTS is back from military service. We have so much to show you—please look forward to it."

A group album is expected next year. During their service, members reportedly gathered ideas and will participate directly in shaping the album's concept and direction.

In the meantime, they will focus on solo projects. Jin will launch his first solo fan concert tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, starting June 28–29 in Goyang, before heading to nine cities including Chiba, Osaka, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam for a total of 18 shows.
