Han So-hee Quietly Donates Laptops, Teaches Action to Aspiring Actors—"She Gave from the Heart"

43 acting students, 5 days of training, and one unforgettable gift.

Han So-hee has once again proven that her impact goes far beyond the screen. In a quiet act of generosity, the actress personally taught action acting to college students—and surprised each one with a laptop, paid for out of her own pocket.

🎬 Back to Where It Began—From Student to Mentor

Kim Min-soo, stunt director at Seoul Action School, shared with Dispatch on June 30:

"Last July, Han So-hee gifted laptops to 43 students from Seoul Institute of the Arts' Theater and Film Department. She did it completely under the radar."

Han first trained at Seoul Action School while preparing for her lead role in My Name (Netflix). Even after filming ended, she continued visiting the school and stayed in close contact with Director Kim.

When he suggested a special guest class for college students, Han didn't hesitate—originally agreeing to one day, she volunteered to teach for five full days.

🥋 Hands-On Teaching—From Falls to Facial Expressions

For five afternoons, from 1 to 5 PM, Han So-hee personally coached students in:

  • Basic action choreography
  • Punch techniques
  • Breakfalls
  • Wire work
  • What made her lessons stand out?
"Unlike stunt teachers, she added insights on facial acting and reaction timing. It was incredibly meaningful for students," said Director Kim.

💻 A Graduation Gift They'll Never Forget

At the course's conclusion, Han So-hee surprised all 43 students with brand-new laptops, each hand-delivered with her autograph and a personal message.

"She saw one student using a laptop with a broken screen and thought, 'Maybe I can help.' So she did," Kim explained.
"She didn't tell the school, the agency, or even us until the day of."

Han told the students:

"It's just a small gift. I hope it helps you study and grow as actors."

📱 She Didn't Stop There

After the training, Han even stayed in touch with the students through a private group chat, according to Kim.

"She left them with more than skills—she left them with confidence and unforgettable memories."

Her agency added,

"This was 100% Han So-hee's personal initiative. She didn't want it publicized. She's also known for quietly donating to senior citizens and other causes."
