A new side of K unfolds as he stars in his first-ever scripted drama on Nihon TV.
&TEAM's K Jo (의주) is stepping into the world of acting, landing his first lead role in a Japanese television drama. The star will headline Even a Shrimp Wants to Catch a Sea Bream (Japanese title: 海老だって鯛が釣りたい), a Wednesday night series airing on Nihon TV's CTV network starting next month.
🎭 Rom-Com with a Twist
The drama follows a relatable office worker as she navigates love, loss, and laughter through relationships with four different men in search of "the one." K Jo plays Park Jong-soo, a young man from Korea with dreams of becoming an actor.

"I'm truly happy and excited to take on this role," he said.
"Jong-soo is a pure and sincere character. I'll do my best to convey his charm through my performance."
His agency added that fans will be able to "see a completely new side of K Jo, very different from his stage persona."

Despite his acting debut, K Jo isn't stepping away from music. &TEAM is currently in the middle of their Asia tour, with upcoming stops on:
- July 5–6 in Hyogo, Japan
- July 26 in Hong Kong
- October 25–26 in Saitama, Japan (final shows)
