[ⓓCONCERT] "Summer Means Just One Thing—HUMMING SHOW!" PSY Opens His 'Koncation'

"For 25 years, I've been your eternal entertainer." — PSY

It was a moment where 30,000 people became one. When PSY shouted "Jump!", the crowd responded with thunderous screams and bounced in unison. For four straight hours, the energy never cooled.

PSY delivered the performance with relentless passion, and the audience answered with explosive excitement. Water cannons and cooling fountains marked the height of the summer festival.

On June 28, PSY held his 'SUMMER SWAG' concert at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. It was the first stop of the tour and the largest crowd gathered across all cities this year. Dispatch was there to witness it.

💧 A Show That Soaked Everyone in Joy

The opening video featured comedian Lee Soo-ji performing a dance parody of PSY. Laughter erupted throughout the stadium.

Soon after, PSY appeared on stage in a bright blue outfit. The familiar melody of 'Champion' rang out, and the crowd roared.

"The weather's crazy today—everyone, hands above your head!"
As the master of audience hype, PSY had everyone in his grip. Fans even chanted his real name, "Park Jae-sang!", while he powered through 'It's Art' and more.

After his second song, PSY formally greeted the audience.

"While preparing for the tour, I had both excitement and a sense of uncertainty about the first audience. But this is amazing."

He also modified the lyrics of 'Paradise', singing "Is this heaven?" as "Is this Incheon?" The setlist included 'Shake It', 'Right Now', and other crowd-pleasers.

🌃 A Summer Night Festival in Full Swing

Fans rolled giant inflatable balls over their heads and soaked in the water blasts.

"This show is a trinity of water, music, and screams," PSY declared.

🎤 Special Guests: Rosé and G-Dragon

"There are times I hear other artists' songs and wish they were mine. This next one is that kind of song."

As the intro played, the crowd erupted—BLACKPINK's Rosé appeared. She joined PSY on 'Apartment', and they performed 'Toxic Till the End' and 'Dance All Night' together.

"I used to only imagine being at a 'SUMMER SWAG' show. It's such an honor to be here," Rosé said emotionally.

Later in the night, G-Dragon (GD) made a surprise appearance. He performed 'Power' and 'Home Sweet Home', and greeted fans with a heartfelt "It's been a while." Fans screamed as he sprinted across the stage.

He sang 'Crayon', then collapsed on the stage floor. PSY said,

"It was really hard to get him here. Let's do one more!"
The two then exploded with energy on 'Crooked'.

🎶 From Bangers to Ballads

PSY balanced high-energy dance tracks with emotional ballads. A ballad rendition of 'Napal Baji' offered a refreshing change of pace.

From teens to fans in their 50s, the audience spanned generations.

"The best thing about this show is that people of all ages can enjoy it together," PSY noted.

During 'Father', emotional photos of real fathers appeared on the big screen. Some audience members were visibly teary-eyed.

"The most important thing today is that you're happy. I'll sing until you are. Do everything you want before you leave!"

🔥 The Final Stretch: A Grand Finale

PSY chose 'Ganji' for one of his final acts, dancing in sync with his crew on a tiered stage. 'Gentleman' featured a massive dance break and light wave performance with the dancers, showcasing the show's scale.

The crowd reached a frenzy as 'Gangnam Style' played.

"Thank you for giving a dance artist a career peak in my 25th year."

Colorful lasers, fireworks, and confetti filled the stadium. PSY officially began the encore.

🎉 Encore Medley and Emotional Farewell

The encore included a medley of dance hits: 'Cheer Up', 'Sorry Sorry', 'Nobody', 'I Am the Best', 'Tears', 'Fantastic Baby', 'Bang Bang Bang', and more.

Nostalgic tracks like 'I Am a Butterfly', 'Romantic Cat', 'Apartment', and 'Infinite Track' followed. PSY ended the main set with 'The Final Scene', leaving the stage as fans shouted for more.

After a short ending video, PSY returned with 'Champion' and 'That That'. Fans heading for the exits turned back, waving their wristbands and singing along.

🌟 "The Final Performance Belongs to You"

PSY chose 'Don't Worry, Dear' as his final message.

"To those in their 20s, I want to say this: today you praised me, but give that praise to yourselves."

He thanked his crew:

"Please give a big round of applause to the 1,500 staff who worked so hard behind the scenes for your happiness."

Running toward the crowd, PSY made eye contact, reached out to fans, and handed them the mic.

"Give me your loudest scream—let it all out!"

He closed the night with 'It's Art', 'Gangnam Style', and 'Champion'. Water sprayed from cannons, fireworks lit the sky, and fans danced in pure bliss until the very last note.

"The crowd was so amazing, I don't know how many extra songs I did. Thank you for being the ones I could lean on.
This was PSY."
