Source Music released a legal update on June 30 via Weverse, revealing the current status of lawsuits involving defamatory comments.
They stated: "Comments using politically charged terms like 'cult' or 'heretic' were legally recognized as false and defamatory."
Several cases have already progressed to prosecution, with some resulting in criminal penalties including fines.
🎭 Deepfake Offenders Face Serious Charges
The label also submitted a formal petition for severe punishment against creators of deepfake content.
