The long wait is (almost) over—BTS confirms new album and world tour plans after military hiatus
🐨 "We're All Back Together!" — BTS Reunites on Weverse Live
BTS just made it official—a full-group comeback is happening in Spring 2026. All seven members reunited for a Weverse Live broadcast on July 1, marking their first group livestream in nearly 2 years and 9 months.
Jimin kicked off the session with a smile:
"We're back. We're finally all here!"
He added, half-joking but heartfelt:
"It feels amazing to hold my phone late at night again. Just lying in bed and scrolling—what a luxury!"
The livestream had fans in tears, laughter, and full-blown ARMY mode.
🎹 Post-Military Updates: Solo Concerts, Stage Moments, and Piano Feels
The members also chatted about their recent reunions off-camera—like attending J-Hope's solo concert, Hope On the Stage, at Goyang Stadium. Some even made surprise appearances on stage.
SUGA praised the energy of the day show, saying,
"It's been so long since I saw a concert in daylight."
Jimin chimed in with a big grin:
"It was really fun. The runtime was great."
They also gave a shoutout to Jin's solo fan concert, Run Seokjin Episode Tour, where Jin played piano live. The members, watching from the crowd, were visibly moved.
💿 BTS to Begin Recording Together in July
Here's the news that truly broke the internet: a brand-new BTS group album is officially in the works.
RM revealed,
"We're planning a massive album. Starting in July, we'll be working on it together."
When asked about a release window, V dropped the bombshell:
"Next spring!"
That's right—Spring 2026 will mark BTS's official group return, post-military service.
Jimin added some real talk:
"Some fans might've thought the album would drop the moment we got out, but you can't prep much while in the army. The real work starts now."
🌍 New Album = New World Tour (Finally!)
While details about the album format are still under wraps, hints suggest it could be BTS's first full-length studio album in 6 years—their last was Map of the Soul: 7 in 2020.
V teased an international songwriting camp, saying he's planning to work on music in the U.S. RM confirmed:
"Yeah, we might start in the U.S. and move around—like a proper song camp."
And the cherry on top?
RM signed off with this message:
"The new album drops next spring, and then comes the world tour. Just wait a little longer, ARMY!"
BTS is back. Get ready—because spring 2026 is about to be legendary.
