TWS just scored their first No.1 on Japan's Oricon Weekly Singles Chart (as of July 14) with their debut Japanese single 'Nice to See You Again' (はじめまして)—cementing their rising global fame.
📈 Record-breaking debut in Japan
According to Oricon, TWS sold over 150,000 copies of their debut single in just one week, earning them the No.1 spot on the Weekly Singles Ranking.
They also became the only foreign act in 2025 to top the chart and now hold the highest first-week sales by any international artist this year.
🏆 2-for-2 on the charts
Following their Korean debut single 'Last Bell', which also topped the charts, 'Nice to See You Again' marks TWS's second straight No.1.
PLEDIS Entertainment noted,

TWS also hit No.1 on Billboard Japan's Top Single Sales chart (July 9), confirming their surging popularity in the Japanese market.
🎤 TV, festivals, and a sold-out pop-up store
After their official Japan debut on July 2, TWS performed on major music shows and festivals and opened a pop-up store for fans—which sold out instantly via reservation. They also trended on Japanese social media, proving their red-hot status.
🗾 First Japan tour kicks off July 11
TWS will launch their first Japanese tour starting in Hiroshima, visiting 6 cities with 13 total shows.
