💂♂️ Another chapter begins for SEVENTEEN's Hoshi and Woozi.
On September 15 and 16, Woozi and Hoshi will officially begin their mandatory military service as active-duty soldiers in the Korean army, according to a Weverse announcement by PLEDIS Entertainment on July 8.
🎤 Final stages before enlistment: Fan concerts & video calls still happening
Before heading off, the two idols will fulfill their scheduled activities—including the joint 'HOSHI X WOOZI FAN CONCERT [WARNING]' and a video call fansign for their 5th full-length album '17 IS RIGHT HERE'.
PLEDIS stated, "After enlistment, they will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN's group schedules, but will continue to greet CARATs through pre-recorded content."
🚫 Request for no on-site visits
The label also asked fans to refrain from visiting the training centers in person, citing the shared nature of the occasion with other enlistees and their families. Instead, fans are encouraged to leave warm messages via Weverse.
📅 Military era begins for SEVENTEEN
Hoshi and Woozi's enlistment follows that of Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who are currently serving as public service workers, marking the start of SEVENTEEN's "military phase."
PLEDIS concluded:
"We ask for your unwavering love and support so Hoshi and Woozi can fulfill their duties and return healthy. We will continue to support them throughout their service."
