ILLIT is taking over Japan too—proving their global popularity with a completely sold-out fan concert even before their official Japanese album debut.
🎤 'GLITTER DAY' in Japan—4 shows, 2 cities, all sold out
Tickets for ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN JAPAN were snatched up immediately. The concerts will be held on August 10–11 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, and September 3–4 at Osaka-jō Hall. Due to overwhelming demand, limited-view and standing seats will be released via Lawson Ticket on July 9 at 8 PM (JST).
💿 No Japanese album yet—still sold out
Even without a full Japanese album out yet, ILLIT proved their unbeatable ticket power. Their massive fanbase secured every reserved seat, prompting the agency to open up more.
🍫 Streaming queens: 'Almond Chocolate' hits 50M
ILLIT's Japanese original single Almond Chocolate surpassed 50 million streams on Oricon as of July 7, becoming the most-streamed song by a foreign female artist in Japan for the first half of 2025. It's the only K-pop track to enter Amazon Music Japan's Top 50 of 2025 (H1).
📈 2 songs, multiple charts
Their hit tracks Magnetic and Almond Chocolate also landed spots on Billboard Japan and Rakuten Music's mid-year charts—ILLIT was the only K-pop act to score two entries.
💥 K-pop rising stars
Their latest album bomb, released in June, outsold their previous album's first-week record in just one day. It dominated top spots on both Oricon and Billboard Japan.
Earlier this year, ILLIT also hosted their GLITTER DAY fan concert in Seoul, selling out two rounds of tickets during the pre-sale alone—proving their growing fandom at home and abroad.
