Rookie group NINE is off to a blazing start—setting records from day one.
💿 36K+ Albums Sold in First Week
According to Hanteo Chart, NINE's debut mini album WHO WE ARE sold approximately 360,985 copies in its first week (July 1–7), ranking 5th all-time among K-pop boy group debuts. The only groups ahead of them? ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, X1, and Wanna One.
This makes NINE the best-selling debut boy group of 2025 so far.
🎧 Streaming & Charts Domination
The group is not just winning in physical sales. All tracks from the album entered Bugs Music's real-time charts, with title track Rendezvous (Let's Meet Again There) soaring to #1 right after release.
The music video for Rendezvous also made waves, surpassing 26.92 million views in just one week—a record among all boy group debuts this year.
💬 A Concept That Resonates
"NINE's concept explores the emotional duality of anxiety and hope in youth," said their agency. "The sincerity in their music and lyrics is clearly reaching fans."
The nostalgic melody of Rendezvous is also turning heads. "It's a sound rarely heard in today's K-pop landscape, and listeners are responding positively," they added.
