On July 8, Shinji took to social media to speak out about the ongoing controversies surrounding her fiancé, singer Moon Won (real name Park Sang-moon, 36).
"I feel heavy-hearted that my wedding news may have caused discomfort to some," she began.
She continued, "I needed time to verify the facts regarding the allegations. After reviewing everything with my agency, I can confirm that none of the rumors are true."

Moon Won had been accused of cheating, working illegally in real estate, and bullying during his school and military days. Shinji's agency, JG Star, has denied all allegations and provided documentation to support their stance.
Regarding the real estate claims, the agency clarified that Moon Won was officially registered as a real estate assistant and completed all required professional training.
As for the bullying and divorce rumors, they stated: "We verified directly with his former classmates, military colleagues, and ex-wife. His ex-wife even expressed her well wishes for the couple's happiness."
