🎬 Netflix's 'Tangerines' Wins Grand Prize
The 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place on July 18 at Paradise City Hotel in Incheon, hosted by Jun Hyun-moo and Yoona for the fourth consecutive year.
Netflix's When Life Gives You Tangerines (Korean title: 폭싹 속았수다) won the night's highest honor. Park Bo-gum, who starred in the series, said, "I'm grateful to the entire team who worked through all four seasons. I couldn't have portrayed Gwan-sik without our amazing child actors and Park Hae-joon sunbaenim."
👑 IU, Officially Best Actress
IU won her first Best Actress award with an emotional speech:
"This project will be my biggest source of pride," she said. "Thanks to this role, I feel like I've truly lived the fullest version of myself."
She continued, "To the Aesoonis who lived boldly in a world that tried to blur their light, and the Geummyeongs out there nurturing their dreams—I dedicate this to you."
