😔 JYP Apologizes for Entry Mishandling

On July 23, JYP Entertainment posted a notice on its official website, saying, "We sincerely apologize to the audience members who experienced inconvenience due to excessive identity verification procedures during the DAY6 event."

💸 Refunds for Blocked Entry Fans

Eligible for refunds are ticket holders from fanmeeting sessions 1 to 3 who were denied entry due to the verification process. Fans must submit their requests through YES24 within the designated refund window.

🎟️ No Refunds for Transferred Tickets

Tickets that were transferred to someone else will not be refunded. The agency clarified, "If it was confirmed at the venue that the person entering was not the original purchaser, even if the ticket was scanned, it is not eligible for a refund."

🎤 What Went Wrong at the Venue

DAY6 held their 4th fanmeeting 'PIER 10: All My Days' at Jamsil Indoor Stadium from July 18 to 20. Entry management was outsourced to a third-party company, which led to multiple complaints online—some fans said they couldn't enter with tickets purchased under a family member or friend's name, while others claimed minors were rejected for not having proper youth ID.

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to the audience," JYP said. "We recognize the seriousness of the matter and will take measures to prevent this from happening again."

📅 More Fanmeetings Coming This Week

Despite the controversy, DAY6 will go ahead with additional fanmeeting sessions at the same venue from July 25 to 27.
