Ok Taecyeon is making his return to the big screen—this time through a hit Japanese film. Grand Maison Paris, starring Kimura Takuya and Ok Taecyeon, will officially premiere in Korea on August 27, according to distributor Media Castle.
🍽️ Michelin Dreams in the City of Lights
Grand Maison Paris is a cinematic adaptation of the popular Japanese drama of the same name. The story follows a once-famed chef striving to earn three Michelin stars in Paris, the world's culinary capital, alongside a team of passionate colleagues.
Japanese icon Kimura Takuya plays Chef Obana, a perfectionist chasing culinary redemption. Taecyeon steps into the role of Rick Yuan, a Korean-Canadian patissier who stands in stark contrast to Obana, setting the stage for a clash of personalities and ideologies.
🇫🇷 Parisian Charm Meets Emotional Depth
The newly released main poster features the cast against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, with Chef Obana's intense gaze hinting at the high-stakes journey ahead. Taglined "Chasing 3 Michelin stars in the home of haute cuisine", the film teases more than just a food battle—it promises heartfelt storytelling.
🎬 Korean Release on August 27
After a successful run in Japan, Grand Maison Paris will be available in Korea exclusively through Lotte Cinema starting August 27.
