HYBE's upcoming Latin boy group Santos Bravos is already creating a major buzz — even before their official debut.
🔥 HYBE Experience in Mexico draws massive crowds
Since July 17, HYBE Latin America has been running a fan-centered exhibition called HYBE Experience at Parque Bicentenario in Mexico City. The pop-up lets fans immerse themselves in the Santos Bravos training journey, offering personalized content like photo ops and a recording booth.
On opening day alone, ticket reservations hit nearly 120%, forcing the organizers to extend operating hours. By late July, over 90% of available slots had already been reserved — a testament to the group's explosive pre-debut hype.
🎤 High anticipation, even before the reality show airs
"Our reality series hasn't even begun," a HYBE rep commented, "and yet the response shows just how much excitement there is around Santos Bravos in Latin culture."
The event has also caught the attention of major global brands. Over 150 brand representatives attended the pre-launch media showcase The Drop. Prominent media outlets like Billboard Español, Variety, and El Heraldo de México were on-site to cover the event and explore the K-pop training system HYBE is bringing to Latin America.
🌎 A first-of-its-kind K-pop training program in Latin America
Santos Bravos is HYBE's first artist development project in Latin America, selecting 16 trainees from countries like Mexico, Colombia, and the U.S. Only 5 final members will debut under the group name Santos Bravos — and their journey will be shown through a reality series of the same name.
🎬 Global creative powerhouses join the project
- Kenny Ortega (director of High School Musical) is on board as the creative director.
- Hitmaker Johnny Goldstein (collaborator with Shakira, BTS's J-Hope, and ENHYPEN) serves as the main music producer.
- Vocal coach Raab Stevenson is training the team's vocal skills.
- Colombian creator Jaime Escalón is leading the entire production as executive producer.
