BTS's Jungkook has officially surpassed 18 million followers on Spotify—setting a new record as the fastest Asian solo artist to achieve the milestone.
According to Pop Tingz, Spin or Bin Music, and Pop Core, Jungkook launched his personal Spotify profile on February 11, 2022. Just two and a half years later, he reached 18 million followers—faster than any other Asian artist in history.
His influence doesn't stop there. Jungkook previously reached over 40 million monthly listeners, making him the most-streamed K-pop soloist ever. Even now, he maintains a steady monthly listener count between 17.5 to 17.6 million.
All of Jungkook's original tracks have surpassed 100 million streams each, placing him in the same league as global icons like Billie Eilish and Harry Styles. His Spotify credits have also collectively exceeded 9.2 billion streams—a record both among Asian and K-pop solo artists.
On the platform's main charts, Jungkook continues to break barriers. His solo debut single "Seven" has spent an unmatched 106 consecutive weeks on Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global—the longest for any Asian soloist.
His debut solo album GOLDEN also made history by charting on Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global for 90 consecutive weeks, another record for an Asian solo act.
Jungkook has also achieved multiple Guinness World Records on Spotify. These include:
- Fastest K-pop soloist to reach 1 billion streams with only three songs (Dreamers, Left and Right, Stay Alive)
- Highest one-week filtered streams for a male artist's track with "Seven" (89.7M+)
- Fastest filtered 100M and 1B streams on Spotify history
With each milestone, Jungkook continues to prove his global dominance as a streaming powerhouse.
