Singer-actor Cha Eun-woo has officially begun his mandatory military service.
🎖️ Cha Eun-woo enters Army training center today
On July 28, Cha Eun-woo enlisted in the Republic of Korea Army. He entered the Nonsan Training Center, where he will undergo basic military training before serving as a member of the military band.
📹 "Cut my hair—I'm ready to go"
On July 27, the day before enlistment, Cha Eun-woo greeted fans via a YouTube live stream. Sporting a freshly cropped haircut, he said, "I cut my hair like this. I'll stay healthy and come back safely."
💬 "It feels strange… but it's real"
He touched his hair repeatedly during the stream, adding, "This is probably the shortest my hair has been since I was two or three years old. It feels surreal. I can't believe this day has come for me too."
👋 Sending love to fans before departure
Wanting to personally reassure fans, Cha Eun-woo said, "I wanted to say goodbye before I go. Let's meet again when I'm stronger, both physically and mentally. I'll be back soon!"
