📈 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' OST Soars to No. 3 on Billboard 200

On July 28 (KST), Billboard previewed this week's chart highlights, revealing that the K-Pop Demon Hunters original soundtrack climbed to No. 3 on the Billboard 200. That's two spots higher than last week's No. 5—marking the album's fifth consecutive week in the Top 10.

The animated film's OST sold the equivalent of 89,000 album units during the tracking week, a 5% increase from the previous week. The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on traditional album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and track equivalent albums (TEA).

🔥 This marks a significant feat for a soundtrack album, signaling K-Pop Demon Hunters as a major breakout success in the U.S. music market.

🎤 BTS Returns to Top 10 with Live Album

Meanwhile, BTS landed at No. 10 with their concert album Permission to Dance On Stage – Live. The album features 22 live tracks from the group's global stadium tour held between 2021 and 2022.

Despite being a live album with no new songs, BTS still moved 43,000 equivalent album units—including 36,000 in pure physical sales, 5,000 from SEA, and 2,000 from TEA.

🏆 This marks BTS's eighth Top 10 album on the Billboard 200, extending their record for the most Top 10 entries among Korean acts.
