🚨 Fake Accounts Alert: Don't Fall for It!
Actor Jin Seon-kyu has issued a public warning about SNS impersonation. His agency LJuly Entertainment revealed on July 28 that fake accounts posing as Jin have been attempting to scam fans via direct messages (DMs).
The impersonators reportedly tried to initiate financial transactions or requested personal contact, pretending to be the actor himself.
📵 Official Statement from the Agency
"Jin Seon-kyu only uses Instagram. We do not operate any other SNS accounts aside from our official Instagram and X (formerly Twitter)," the agency clarified.
They also stressed:
"Neither Jin Seon-kyu nor our staff members will ever contact individuals privately or ask for money under any circumstances."
🙏 Fans Urged to Stay Vigilant
The agency asked for fans' cooperation:
"Please stay alert to avoid falling victim to these scams. If you spot any suspicious accounts claiming to be Jin Seon-kyu, report them immediately."
⚖️ Legal Action on the Table
"We are monitoring the situation closely and will take strong legal measures if necessary," they added.
