K-pop icon BoA is using her platform to make a difference. On July 30, she donated ₩100 million KRW (approx. $77,000 USD) to the Orthopedic Department of Samsung Medical Center in Seoul.
The donation will support orthopedic patients who face financial hardship, helping them access necessary treatments and surgeries.

BoA recently underwent surgery after being diagnosed with avascular necrosis, a rare and painful bone condition. Reflecting on her own struggles, she shared,
"I hope this can offer both comfort and practical support to others going through similar hardships."

This isn't BoA's first major act of kindness. She's a proud member of Honor Society and W Honor Society, known for high-value philanthropy in Korea.
Her past donations include:
