Instant No.1 on Oricon Daily Album Chart
IVE continues to prove their global music power. On July 30, Japan's Oricon announced that IVE's third Japanese album Be Alright debuted at No.1 on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking (as of July 29).
The group hit the top spot immediately upon release. This marks another chart-topping success following last year's ALIVE, which also reached No.1. Even after 11 months, IVE's popularity in Japan remains unstoppable.
Five-Track Album Packed with Hits
Be Alright features five tracks, including the title song of the same name. The album also presents Japanese versions of fan favorites: "Accendio," "Blue Heart," and "WOW."
Additionally, the album includes "DARE ME," an OST for NTV's Sunday drama Dame Mane! – Managing an Unpopular Talent. The track shows another side of IVE's expanding range.
Charting Across Japan's Music Platforms
The title track was pre-released on July 16 and quickly entered Line Music's real-time and daily Top 100 charts. It also landed on Billboard Japan's Hot 100, Hot Shot Songs, and Download Songs charts.
Be Alright delivers a vibrant sound paired with empowering lyrics about embracing change and moving forward. Its catchy melody and IVE's signature vocals resonated well with Japanese fans.
Consistent Popularity in Japan
IVE's popularity in Japan shows no signs of fading. Last year, they became the first Korean group to hold a concert at K-Arena Yokohama as part of their "Show What I Have" world tour.
They also achieved a dream milestone by performing at the iconic Tokyo Dome, attracting around 95,000 fans over two days. Every seat was sold out, and fans without tickets still gathered outside the venue.
In April, IVE held a Japanese fan concert tour titled IVE THE 1st Fan Concert Tour – The 1st IVE Scout in Japan, meeting 100,000 fans across four cities and showcasing their live talent and close connection with their audience.
Upcoming Comeback and Festival Appearance
IVE is currently wrapping up preparations for their Korean comeback in August with a new album. In September, they are scheduled to perform at Japan's signature music event, Rock in Japan Festival 2025.
