Supports Blood Cancer Treatment for Patients
A Heartfelt Tribute Turns Into Hope
Singer Kim Jung-min has donated condolence funds received from fans following his mother's passing. On August 1, the Korea Blood Cancer Association confirmed that Kim and his fan community "Kim Jung-min and Friends" donated ₩3.5 million (approximately $2,700) to support treatment for blood cancer patients.
The full amount of condolence money collected by fans was delivered to the association and will be used to help those undergoing treatment for blood disorders and cancer.
Honoring His Mother Through Giving
Kim shared, "I wanted to return the warm condolences I received with hope. My mother always emphasized the importance of giving. I hope this small act can become a source of strength for someone."
A Longtime Ambassador for a Cause
Kim Jung-min has been an official ambassador for the Korea Blood Cancer Association since 2010 and has consistently participated in charity efforts for the past 15 years. Last year, he also donated ₩10 million toward patient treatment.
Continuing to Perform Through Grief
Despite the recent loss of his mother on July 27, Kim is continuing with his scheduled nationwide concert tour, showing strength and dedication to both his music and his causes.
