K-pop Meets Global Pop in New Music Competition
K-pop stars and international pop icons are teaming up for a cross-cultural music showdown.
Apple TV+ announced on August 2 that its upcoming global music competition series "KPOPPED" will premiere simultaneously worldwide on August 29. The first official trailer has also been released.
A Unique Music Exchange Format
KPOPPED is a competitive music show where K-pop artists pair with Western pop stars. Each episode features teams reinterpreting each other's hit songs through collaborative live performances.
Among the lineup is PSY, the global K-pop pioneer, who will perform alongside Megan Thee Stallion, a three-time Grammy Award winner.

8 Episodes of Genre-Crossing Collaboration
Each episode forms a new K-pop/pop star duo. Teams rehearse within limited time and deliver joint stages in front of a live audience in Seoul. The winner is chosen by on-site audience voting.

The series features a total of 8 episodes, promising both generational and cross-cultural fusion. A show rep stated,
