Netflix officially announced the production of A Possible Love on August 5. The cast includes Jeon Do-yeon, Sol Kyung-gu, Jo In-sung, and Jo Yeo-jeong.

The film explores the lives of two couples whose contrasting lifestyles begin to intertwine—causing emotional fractures and irreversible shifts in their once-stable daily routines.

Jeon Do-yeon reunites with director Lee Chang-dong for the first time since Secret Sunshine (2007), a performance that earned her Best Actress at the 60th Cannes Film Festival. She will portray Mi-ok, a character requiring subtle and profound emotional depth.
Sol Kyung-gu returns for his third collaboration with Lee, following Peppermint Candy and Oasis. This time, he takes on the role of Ho-seok, Mi-ok's husband, showcasing a new side of his acting.

A Possible Love is Lee's first feature since Burning (2018). Co-written with screenwriter Oh Jung-mi, who also co-wrote Burning, the film will be produced by Pinehouse Film.
