IVE sets a new personal record and becomes the top-selling international female artist in Japan this year with their latest album 'Be Alright'.
🇯🇵 Dominates the Oricon Chart
On August 5, Japan's Oricon revealed its latest chart (dated August 11), with IVE's 3rd Japanese album 'Be Alright' claiming the No.1 spot on the Weekly Album Ranking.
The album sold approximately 165,000 copies in its first week, surpassing their previous record of 101,916 copies for their second Japanese album, ALIVE.
According to Oricon, this is the highest first-week album sales by a foreign female artist in Japan in 2025—a clear testament to IVE's soaring popularity beyond Korea.
🎵 'Be Alright': Courageous Message, Addictive Sound
The title track Be Alright was pre-released on July 16 and immediately charted across Billboard Japan's Hot 100, Hot Shot Songs, and Download Charts.
With its message of pushing forward without fear of change, the track pairs a catchy melody with the distinctive six-member vocal blend that defines IVE.
🎶 Packed Tracklist + OST Appearance
The album features five tracks, including the Japanese version of their hit songs Accendio, Blue Heart, and WOW. It also includes Dare Me, which serves as the OST for a Japanese drama.
