Actors Kim Go-eun and Koo Kyo-hwan lend their star power to support rising filmmakers, appearing together in the official trailer for the 21st Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. The teaser was unveiled on August 6 and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Um Tae-hwa.
The trailer tells a delicate story of a couple reunited after four years. Koo visits Kim's art studio, and without a word, their glances capture the raw tension and emotion of their long-awaited meeting. Director Um described the concept as "a romantic drama-like story, soft and shimmering like light."
Festival organizers explained, "Their interaction symbolizes the relationship between the festival and its audience—capturing the emotion of reconnecting after a long wait in just a short moment."
Festival Returns October 16–20 in Seoul
The 2025 Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival will be held from October 16 to 20 at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.

The festival is organized by Cine21 and sponsored by Naver.
