Legendary Korean singer Cho Yong-pil will return with a special televised concert to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, airing during Chuseok.
'This Moment Forever' Set to Air on October 6
KBS2 announced on August 7 that Cho Yong-pil's solo concert titled This Moment Forever will be broadcast on October 6, coinciding with Korea's Chuseok holiday.
The concert is part of KBS's large-scale programming honoring the 80th anniversary of Korea's Liberation Day. It will take place at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul with free admission for all seats.
First Solo Stage in 28 Years
The performance will feature Cho Yong-pil's iconic hits alongside meaningful content themed around the historical milestone, creating a multi-generational experience filled with emotion and nostalgia.
This marks his first solo concert in nearly 28 years. He'll be joined by his long-time live band Great Birth, delivering a powerful, full-scale show.
A KBS representative shared, "It's an honor to present such a significant gift to the public under Cho Yong-pil's name in this historic year." The official added, "We hope viewers feel the emotional depth and excitement of the Gocheok Dome performance on Chuseok."
How to Get Tickets
Tickets can be reserved through NOL, with the first round of applications opening on August 18 at 12 PM (KST) and the second round on August 25 at 12 PM (KST).
