To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation, artists from across the nation are joining together for a night of remembrance and unity.
'We Are the Light' Concert Set for August 14 at Gyeongbokgung
The special event We Are the Light will take place on August 14 at 8 PM in front of Heungnyemun Gate at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. The performance aims to reflect on Korea's past and celebrate its journey toward harmony and future progress.
A representative stated, "This stage will transcend culture, presenting a new path of liberation for the future through diverse artistic performances by Korean creators."
Diverse Lineup Celebrates National Spirit
Hosted by actor Jung Il-woo and SBS announcer Kim Ga-hyun, the lineup includes legendary singer Insooni, boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), girl groups fromis_9 and H1-KEY, as well as choral group Harmonize, traditional music band Beomjeop Seodo Band, artist Shin Chae-rin, and national ensembles such as the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company and the National Chorus Youth Program.
The event will also feature the Seoul Performing Arts Company and a children's choir dedicated to Korean history.
