CORTIS makes a bold entrance with their first official release, delivering raw teenage energy and creative flair.
A Fresh Start from HYBE's New Boy Group
Rookie boy group CORTIS released the music video for "GO!", the intro track from their debut album Color Outside the Lines, on August 11 via HYBE Labels' official YouTube channel. The 3-minute-5-second video was filmed in Los Angeles and incorporates footage the members planned and edited themselves during their trainee days, capturing their teen years as they were.
Creative Visuals Meet Hip-Hop Energy
The MV features unique techniques such as stop-motion, adding dynamism and speed that match the track's hip-hop-driven mood. "GO!" was co-written and co-composed by all members, blending minimal trap rhythms with powerful synthesizer sounds. The lyrics convey their ambition to paint the world in CORTIS' own colors.
Real Stories, Real Energy
With lines like "Since I was a kid, I stood out in my neighborhood," the song reflects the members' real-life experiences, amplifying its authenticity and appeal. CORTIS—consisting of Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, and Gunho—is BigHit Music's first new boy group in about six years, branding themselves as a "young creator crew" that produces all their own work.
CORTIS will officially debut on September 8, with the title track pre-releasing on August 18 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
