ILLIT made a powerful impression in Japan, leading massive sing-alongs at their very first fan concert.
The group held their "2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY" fan concert on August 10–11 at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Kanagawa. With their official Japanese debut set for next month, anticipation was high. Tickets sold out immediately after sales opened, including limited-view and standing seats.
Upgraded Performances and Special Stages
ILLIT showcased improved vocal skills, opening with their 3rd mini album title track "Borrowed Cat," followed by hits like "Tick-Tack" and "Magnetic." They also delivered a cover performance of TWICE's "What Is Love?" and unveiled the Japanese pre-release track "Toping" live.
Singer-songwriter Noah, who participated in writing and composing "Toping," made a surprise appearance for a special joint performance, earning loud applause from fans.
Fan Interaction and Emotional Moments
ILLIT actively engaged with the audience, approaching fans in the crowd and speaking Japanese despite some language barriers. During the encore, the group performed "Almond Chocolate" and "I'll Like You," amplifying the energy in the venue.
"We were deeply moved when GLITs (fandom name) chanted for an encore," they shared. "We'll keep working hard to deliver positive energy through our music."
ILLIT will release their first Japanese single "Toki Yo Tomare" on September 1, followed by more fan concerts across Japan.
