TWICE has reached a new milestone on the Billboard charts, marking the highest Hot 100 ranking of their career.
On August 13, Billboard announced its latest chart (dated August 16) via its official website. TWICE's track "Strategy" secured the No. 69 spot on the Hot 100. The song is featured on the group's 14th mini album and also serves as part of the Netflix K-Pop Demon Hunters original soundtrack. It first entered the Hot 100 at No. 92 on the August 2 chart.
The track climbed to No. 74 on August 9 and reached No. 69 on August 16, spending three consecutive weeks on the chart and achieving a reverse climb. This marks TWICE's highest-ever Hot 100 placement.
Multiple Chart Wins
Member Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung's unit track "Takedown" also landed at No. 66 on the Hot 100. On August 10, both "Strategy" and "Takedown" performed strongly on Spotify's U.S. chart, ranking at No. 43 and No. 39 respectively.
A Milestone Year
Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, TWICE is showing no signs of slowing down. Chaeyoung will become the group's fourth soloist — following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu — with her first solo album Lil Fantasy Vol. 1 set for release on September 12 at 1 p.m. KST, adding to the group's unstoppable momentum.
