Actor Park Seo-joon marked his 14th debut anniversary with a warm act of kindness.
On August 12, Park donated 100 million KRW to Samsung Medical Center's Patient Happiness Fund, aiming to support children battling cancer. He also shared his donation certificate on social media that day.
Samsung Medical Center expressed gratitude, saying, "We truly appreciate the heartfelt donation for the children. We will repay your kindness by working toward the patients' health and happiness."
A Meaningful Milestone
Park explained that he chose to donate in celebration of his 14th debut anniversary, writing, "Thank you to everyone who congratulated me. Back then I was young, now I'm still maturing. I hope this process keeps going 'ing.'"
Debuting in 2011 through B.A.P's Bang Yong-guk's I Remember music video, Park has built a solid career with roles in Dream High 2, Kill Me, Heal Me, Fight for My Way, Itaewon Class, and Gyeongseong Creature.
Upcoming Drama
Later this year, Park will star in JTBC's Waiting for Kyung-do, a romantic comedy about a man who unexpectedly reunites with his first love—now his scandal-ridden wife—after writing a news article about her affair. Park plays Lee Kyung-do, an entertainment reporter at the Dongwoon Daily, who faces a complicated emotional reunion with Seo Ji-woo, portrayed by Won Ji-an.
