Fans of Lim Young-woong will get an early chance to hear his new songs through a special listening event.
Lim Young-woong is set to release his second full-length album, IM HERO 2, on August 29, marking his first full album comeback in over three years. Ahead of the release, a dedicated event has been planned for his fandom, Heroic Age, at select CGV theaters across South Korea.
The listening event will take place simultaneously at around 50 CGV locations nationwide, accommodating approximately 50,000 fans. This will set a record for the largest pre-release listening event in South Korea.
Attendees will be able to hear all the tracks from IM HERO 2, including the title song, and will also get the first public viewing of the title track's music video.
Lim Young-woong had previously announced a unique approach for the album, releasing it as an album book without a CD. His agency explained that the listening event is designed to be a celebration of the full album experience rather than a competitive event.
The agency added, "We want to share IM HERO 2 with fans first and hope it becomes a time filled with music and emotion."
The nationwide listening event will take place on August 28 at CGV theaters, with tickets opening sequentially from 10 a.m. on August 21.
