BLACKPINK member Lisa has collaborated with Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi on a short film project.

On August 14, her agency, Loud Company, uploaded a 5-minute 8-second short film for Dream, a track from Lisa's first solo album Alter Ego, to their YouTube channel. The film depicts the two as former lovers, exploring the dual emotions of love and loss.

Lisa was recently nominated for Best K-pop at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards for her song Born Again. She has previously won multiple awards, including for tracks from her 2022 solo debut LALISA through Rockstar.

Her album Alter Ego performed strongly on the charts, reaching No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and topping the Top Album Sales chart.

Lisa continues her global activities, having performed her first solo stage at Coachella in April and expanded into acting through HBO's The White Lotus.
