SEVENTEEN's Joshua has teamed up with American singer-songwriter Dylan Matthew for a heartfelt reinterpretation of "Love Is Gone."
The duet version, released on August 15 via global music platforms, blends Joshua's emotive vocals with Dylan Matthew's soothing tone. Dylan Matthew, who originally featured on the track, adds a familiar yet refreshing touch to the collaboration.
Joshua shared, "Our voices blended even better than I expected. You'll feel a different energy compared to the solo version." He added, "I hope this becomes a comforting gift for anyone in need, and I'd love to collaborate with Dylan Matthew on another project."
The idol previously released a remake of "Love Is Gone" on July 25, delivering the song with his signature gentle voice and delicate emotion. Originally released in 2019 by American DJ duo SLANDER, the track tells the story of losing love and has amassed over 600 million streams on Spotify.
Joshua has worked with various international artists, including featuring on American singer-songwriter Pink Sweat$'s "17" and contributing to New Kids on the Block's revival album.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN will kick off their new world tour NEW_ with concerts at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium on September 13–14.
