BOYNEXTDOOR proved their rising global presence with a powerful performance at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.
Explosive Stage at 'Global Spin Live'
On August 15 (KST), the group took part in the Global Spin Live series, delivering two live tracks. They performed "I Feel Good," the title track from their 4th mini album No Genre, along with the fan-favorite single "Only Today I Love You."
The atmosphere was electric. Fans sang along in Korean during "I Feel Good," while a full crowd chant erupted from the very beginning of "Only Today I Love You," creating a festival-like scene inside the museum.
Message to Fans Through Music
After the stage, the members shared their thoughts in an interview. They expressed that their goal was to give fans "comfort and empathy" through their songs. Reflecting on their creative process, they added, "The strong response to our previous release showed us that our musical direction wasn't wrong. With this mini album, we enjoyed exploring new sounds."
The group also touched on their identity, saying, "Our name represents who we are. Like the 'boys next door,' we want to stay close and create music that feels like a friend."
Next Steps in Japan
The Global Spin Live performance will later be available through the Grammy Museum's official website and YouTube channel. Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR is set to release their 2nd Japanese single BOYLIFE on August 18, along with the music video for "Count To Love."
