BLACKPINK's Lisa has turned her flea market project into a meaningful act of giving.
From Closet to Community
In June, Lisa hosted a flea market in Hannam-dong, Seoul, under the title "Welcome to Lisa's Closet." She sold personal items including clothing, accessories, and beauty goods, with all proceeds donated to the global children's rights NGO Good Neighbors.
Supporting Clean Water in Niger
The donation will fund a water and sanitation project in Niger, Africa. Good Neighbors plans to install solar-powered systems, water tanks, and fountains in the Kolo region, benefiting more than 6,800 residents and children by providing access to clean and safe drinking water.
Lisa's Message of Sharing
Reflecting on the initiative, Lisa said, "Thanks to everyone who joined this sharing, I was able to bring hope to someone's future. I will continue to practice giving so that children in need can experience positive change."
Continuing Global Activities
Beyond her charitable work, Lisa recently released a short film for "Dream," a track from her first full-length album Alter Ego, where she showcased special chemistry with Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. She is also meeting fans worldwide through BLACKPINK's ongoing DEADLINE world tour.
