NCT's Haechan is officially stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. On September 8 at 6 p.m. KST, he will release his first full-length album TASTE through global music platforms.

An Album to Share His Own Flavor

The title TASTE carries a double meaning: it represents both Haechan's intention to share the musical colors he has built over the years and the first "taste" of his artistry as a solo singer. The album will feature 11 tracks, all within the R&B genre, highlighting his smooth vocals and personal style. His agency stated, "Fans will be able to fully enjoy the musical world of solo artist Haechan."

A Milestone in His Career

This marks Haechan's solo debut nine years after his first appearance with NCT, making him the seventh member of the group to go solo following Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Yuta. Known as NCT's main vocalist, Haechan has showcased his unique tone and powerful vocal ability through his activities in NCT 127, NCT DREAM, and NCT U.

Expanding His Musical Identity

Beyond performance, Haechan has steadily built his musical credentials by contributing lyrics to several tracks, including "Like We Just Met," "Flying Kiss," and "Best of Me." His solo album is expected to further establish his individuality as an artist.
