BLACKPINK is set to return this November with a new album, confirmed by YG Entertainment's Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk on the company's official blog.
Anticipated Album After Solo Projects and World Tour
Yang revealed that the members and producers are working hard to prepare the release. "Many fans are curious about BLACKPINK's new album. We hope it will be out by November at the latest," he said.
BLACKPINK's last full-length album, BORN PINK, was released in September 2022. Since then, Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa have focused on solo projects and their world tour DEADLINE, performing at iconic venues including Wembley Stadium in London on July 16–17, drawing around 140,000 fans.
Their recent single, JUMP, also gained international attention, reaching No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 (July 26) and No. 18 on the UK Official Singles Chart (July 24).
Updates on TREASURE and BabyMonster
Yang also shared updates on YG's other groups. TREASURE will release their third mini-album, LOVE PULSE, on September 1. BabyMonster is set for a comeback on October 10 with a new mini-album featuring four fresh tracks, excluding their previous single HOT SAUCE. The title track, WE GO UP, is described as a hip-hop-driven, powerful anthem symbolizing the group's rise.
Yang concluded, "Please show your support and enjoy the upcoming albums from TREASURE, BabyMonster, and BLACKPINK."
BLACKPINK will continue their DEADLINE tour in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and other locations.
