TWICE has set a new personal record on the U.S. Billboard charts, proving their solid global popularity.
Double Entry on Billboard Hot 100
On August 20, Billboard released its latest chart rankings (dated August 23). TWICE entered the main singles chart "Hot 100" with two tracks. Their song "Strategy" ranked at No. 62, while "TAKEDOWN," sung by Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, placed at No. 60—marking the group's highest positions ever on the chart.
Both songs have been climbing steadily for weeks. "Strategy" debuted at No. 92 (August 2), then rose to No. 74 (August 9), No. 69 (August 16), and now No. 62. Meanwhile, "TAKEDOWN" first entered at No. 86 (July 15) and later climbed to No. 66 (August 16), reaching No. 60 this week. As part of the soundtrack for "K-pop Demon Hunters," the track has enjoyed long-lasting popularity.
TWICE also made strong showings on Spotify's U.S. chart, with "Strategy" at No. 38 and "TAKEDOWN" at No. 30, capturing the attention of listeners worldwide.
A Landmark Year for TWICE
Celebrating their 10th debut anniversary in 2025, TWICE continues to solidify their status with the release of their 4th full-length album "THIS IS FOR" and a new world tour.
The group recently headlined "Lollapalooza Chicago," delivering a powerful live stage that earned critical praise. This marked their first performance at a major global festival, further showcasing their stature.
On August 20, TWICE also pre-released "Like 1," a track from their upcoming Japanese 6th studio album "ENEMY." The song, written by Jihyo and composed in collaboration with Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK, conveys the theme of fleeting versus eternal time through emotional lyrics and refreshing band sounds. The album "ENEMY" will be released on August 27.
Chaeyoung's First Solo Album Ahead
Member Chaeyoung is also set to debut as a solo artist. Her first full-length solo album "LIL FANTASY vol.1" will be released on September 12 at 1 p.m. KST. Following Nayeon, Jihyo, and Tzuyu, she becomes the fourth member of TWICE to launch a solo career.
Her agency stated, "Chaeyoung will present a unique musical identity and concept that highlight her individuality."
